CHA Summer

And here, I am back from Chicago where I visited the CHA. It was smaller than the one in winter, but nevertheless quite as impressive. The collections of autumn and of winter which one presents to us and the warm of the autumnal colors and the magic of Christmas are there!
CHEER and a LARGE THANK YOU to all those I had met, to all I had ordered from, to all I had posed thousand and one questions and to all these talented people who made creations that I photographed. I will present to you them here with the permission of these companies!

My kits were prepared until March 2008 and all are ordered. I think that I still made a success to make them very beautiful and very complete. You will really do not miss anything. I had changed the formula a little… I received several comments of customers who liked the albums much that I put in my kits. And even those which would never have thought of making some or tried to make some develop a passion for it. And here now in each one of my kits you will have an album. There are so much beautiful albums, I could not resist. Moreover, to make an album it is so pleasant, there are so much possibilities by topic, subject, date, event, etc and etc,… You can use all the techniques you want and do not dare to try to make anything on a page. An album is also a splendid gift which one you can offer to our families or our friends for Christmas which approach.
This time, I had removed the sheets of Bazzill of my kits because you have a lot of these papers and you should well be used them. On the other hand, I increased the number of beautiful embellishments and papers.
To answer several requests, I had prepared for you a kit of marriage. I hesitated a lot, but this time I could not resist by looking at the new collections. This kit is so beautiful!
You also asked me, if I will make an Halloween’s kit? Yes, but it will have just embellishments, not papers. And the reason for that… The colors for this holiday are all very different: black, mauve, blue, green, pink, orange, etc…. You will choose your papers yourself. On the other hand, I will give you the possibility for testing many embellishments in small quantity to give you the chance to have the most possible diversity.
I also prepared for you an add-on for the kit Pink. Splendid!
And for the other kits - it is the autumn, Christmas,…, a lot of surprises, chipboards, ribbons, flowers… And be sure each kit was made with love, passion, creativity and little bit of craziness. I think that you will like that very much ! ….
Before I leave my husband said to me, one day he will go with me to do a video of me to show how I make all my choices among all these new papers and embellishments at the CHA to make my kits. Honestly, I do not think that I will agree to do that because for me it is a very intimate and very creative moment. The evening of the first day, while the others rest (I suppose) or discuss between them, I settle myself with all the catalogues of all the collections which I had liked and all the night, set on the carpet, I created my kits and my add-ons, one by one. And when the sun rises my kits were made and I was ready to do my purchases. And yes, I am alone to the CHA, I am alone to make the kits and I am alone to buy them… And you know, you have to like that very much because often it’s look like an impossible task….
And now, my impressions…
They are really personal impressions. There are so many things to see and buy, learn and test, discover and try. But the lack of time and the fact that I am not an online boutique make that I look only about what I can put in my kits.
I did not have photographs of collections, because you probably already saw them on other sites and moreover, I have to hide you some little secrets nevertheless to keep some suspense… But with the permission of the companies, I will present you the creations made with these collections to give you even more ideas. Imagination in the scrapbooking does not have limits and it is very impressive…
Basic Grey, once again, is incredible. They have so much imagination. Four splendid collections and “Infuse” which already available and which will be included in my kit of September (which will be available on August 1st). Do you think that I could miss that? And attention, fans of Freestyle… I had prepared for you a kit of thunder for November… Tchh!!! ….

Making Memories. I always like what this company does for Christmas. And this time you will not be disappointed. Splendid embellishments with in addition scalloped papers.
Daisy D’s. Had you noticed that I like very much that company?! … And yes, still, I was not disappointed. Autumn, winter - incredible. Some papers you will have them in my kit of September. The others, later…
Creative Imagination. Always so imaginative. But the collection of Karen Russel left me so admirative. Look as it is so beautiful….
And that… Do you recognize my pink kit?! …
BE. As I said before imagination does not have limits…
7Gypsies. Since I make scrapbooking, I am a big fan of this company, especially of their albums. Unfortunately, it was not always obvious here to have it. I had succeed to have it. Theirs products will be in my kits. It is so much impressive what we can do with them…
Prima. Splendid. Different this time, but beautiful. You will not miss any of them in my kits. And I had liked very much their new papers and scintillating.
Fancy Pants - 4 new collections, beautiful like always and still, you prepare, of the stamps 12X12.
Hambly Screen Prints – Do you doubt about it… Wow, look that rub-ons!!!
Autumn Leaves - I like their creativity.
Melissa Frances - vintage and shabby chic, impossible to circumvent.
SassafrassLass - rich colors and very inspiring.
Everlasting Keesakes - their chipboards is always impressive.
Urban Lilly - I adored it.
My Mind' S Eye - Two collections in their style with transparencies and new ribbons. Tinkering Ink - Congratulations for your dynamism, your broadmindedness and your creativity. I am very hurry to test them.
And my great discovery it is the new line of Tim Holtz “Idea-ology”. I don’t have to be convinced, I am a fan of his inks, his products of embossages, his style, etc,… He left 24 painting colors to be cracked and so easy to use. And my blow of heart is his chipboards. Imagine, they are flexible and you can do all that you want with. And yes, I ordered them…
And it is the first time; I had the occasion to see Tim Holtz working or rather to see him creating. It is really a very great artist and he is very impressive to see what he can do with his products and his Distress inks. It is not complicated, he makes miracles and after having made a wonder, he shows us that and he says “It's easy, easy, easy”. And I had realized that I do not even use the quarter of what one I can do with… Thank you Tim Holtz for your talent!!!
Maya Road. New ribbons, rub-ons, chipboards, embellishments, albums in chipboards (oh yes) and semi-transparent albums - my preferred.
Queen & Co. Who did not see these felts yet? This time they are impressed me with all the diversity suggested. For all tastes…. And which wonders you can make with them.
Rusty Pickle. For those which like the death's-heads, you will regale yourselves. (but not in my kits). Nevertheless, you will have some their products in my kits.
May Arts - the kingdom of the ribbons. I was regaled myself.
Another discovery - Pageframe Designs. You saw what Colette Bate did when she made a transparent album in acrylic resin and decorated it. I liked that so much, but I thought that unfortunately I could never do that because to cut the acrylic resin panels, to use the drilling machine, I know myself; I am unable to do that. And here, that company did already everything for me. All is bored, all is cut, you just have to use your imagination to fill out the pages. Easy… Not?!
And I had prepared for you a surprise for Christmas whom you will be able to make, even with your children if you want…
Elsie Flannigan - Three new collections. I think that her fans will not be disappointed.
I was sad not to be able to order the very innovating collection of KI Memories. I liked very much these “laces” papers, but they will be available only at the end of October and it was too late for the kits in which I wanted to put them. As I have already said to you, it’s not always obvious to assemble kits (I speak about my kits which are very thematic and harmonious), because sometimes what I want for a specific kit will be available too late…
K&Company - impossible to avoid and splendid.
You will have all of these products in my kits. You only have to be patient (and I know how it is difficult) and to hope we will have no surprise with the expected shipping time (It’s always possible with new products).
