Butterfly-Mania
Since I am young, I am attracted by these beautiful creatures – the butterflies. But it is not surprising that… Do you know a lot of girls who do not like butterflies?
I am not able to see desiccated butterflies. I always closes my eyes when I see it in stores…
However, I am unable to move side when I see drawn or embroidered butterflies. Because my own style is more classical, I have no butterflies on my clothes except on very rare occasions.
But our summer bedspread is filled with a lot of butterflies…
And the real mania began when I was pregnant with my daughter. I remember the first thing I bought when I knew I was going to have a girl, the necklace with a butterfly that I have worn throughout my pregnancy.
After we decorated the room of our daughter with butterflies, after we also bought clothing with butterflies, and it had never stopped. Now my daughter is starting to draw butterflies. And the mania continues…
In my early days in scrapbooking, I did not have begun to make photos albums, but I was making complex pages.
And then a 2 doubles pages that I made in 2006 (I think), which was devoted to this butterflies mania …
And now you can imagine how happy I was to see at the CHA among major new trends announcing this butterflies mania! They were almost everywhere and a lot of companies have products with butterflies. And making these kits, I tried to offer some of these wonderful creations….
NB Several of these pictures I take at the exhibition "Butterflies Go Free" organized by the Montréal Botanical Garden.
These three butterflies I made using April kits. I made for my daughter room that is filled with butterflies. These papers are so beautiful that I did not want to add anything more that only a few rhinestones and small butterflies from Maya Road.
