CHA Summer
July 23, 2008
I would like to thank everyone who took the time and who responded to my questionnaire before my departure. I was once again amazed by your thoughts and comments. Thank you very much for your advices, for your suggestions and your desire to continue to buy my kits.
I have printed them and I left with this big suitcase for reading everything on the plane. And be assured that each of you has participated in the creation of these new kits.

As you can imagine every CHA is always very impressive. However, Chicago is smaller and therefore more relaxing. It all starts with this set of "Pipe Band” who plays the bagpipes and Scottish music and then followed by a speech to announce the official opening of the exhibition. And… the Show begins ...
It's always quite amazing to see the room was filled with trees and autumn leaves. This time by cons, I was a little disappointed because there were not as many fall collections than what I expected. Autumn is my favorite season and I love this palette of warm orange-green-burgundy enveloping us in this season. But do not worry because I think I had managed it to do so despite a true autumn kit.
By the way, I found that there were lots of graphics in the new collections, of "freestyle" and of very "cute" collections. But the majority of them didn’t correspond to the styles that I wanted to give to the fall and winter kits. So, unfortunately, and even disappoint some of you (I am sorry), you will not find these adorable little characters, which was everywhere at CHA, in my kits…
By cons I could not go away of the Halloween collections. Almost every company has made one. Even "My Mind's Eye" was launched one for the first time. And I've prepared a magnificent project to make for that occasion.

The CHA was filled with "cupcakes". They were everywhere: in the decorations, in the embellishments and on the papers. And as you can imagine, I have been contaminated… Prepare your photos of cupcakes, "party girls, glamour photos, etc., etc. ...

Basic Grey. Everyone was awaiting for the sneak peeks and nobody has seen anything before the show. To tell you the true, I had taken my time to go near their booth because I was afraid of being disappointed. But, no, once again I was pleasantly surprised. Five new collections where each of you will be able to find something to correspond to their styles. Also they apply always the same concept for the embellishments, but they are magnificent. I apologize to those who purchase these collections as soon as they arrive in the shops (in all cases, I can not compete with shops in this area and this is not my goal either!), But I ordered several items in 3 collections that I loved.
Creative Imaginations. I love this company because they have a very dynamic team and because their "make & take" are breathtaking. And how can you say an other word than "Wow!" when I saw the new collection make by Karen Russell. It is always my favorite collection and once again I say 'Bravo! ". I do not know how she can make every time pure wonders.
And I go to prepare projects and courses with the collections of "Creative Cafe" that I could finally order.
K & Company. Still very creative and indispensable. I found a collection that I consider to be my great discovery of this show. I loved… Itching to know! A little patience, you will not be disappointed.
My Mind's Eye. I love this company with its double and textured papers that are so pleasant to work. Once again, I ordered several of their papers. Imagine, they put a little bite of "glitter" on their textured papers. Wonderful!
Prima. Again a lot of flowers and once again they are all different. I love their imagination. Whenever I go to the salon, I always said to myself that "This time I will not buy any flowers, I have enough of them and in addition they will be all the same." Well, no, whenever I go to show I discovered that they are all different and whenever Prima find a way to innovate and to surprise me with their creations that I can not avoid to buy them. I found that their double and triple interchangeable flowers are absolutely indispensable and very versatile.
Maya Road. And yes, albums, chipboard, etc., etc. ... Different, beautiful and inspiring. A big congratulations to the team!
Making Memories. Four beautiful collections. And what to say about their embellishments… I also succumbed to their charms…
7Gypsies. This is not complicated, I would like to buy everything if I could. I love every little thing make by this company. I go to prepare few projects that I can not wait to show you.
Ranger. How it is possible to go near their booth without stopping to look their demonstrations. I have learned many new techniques at their booth.
Tim Holtz has released new Grungebords and masks. There are also four new Crackle Paint colors
and… Attention ... 18 new Stickles colors (vintage, burlap, etc…). There is otherwise to become insane.
There is also a collection of Claudine Hellmuth paintings (15 colors). Very interesting.
"My little Yellow Bicycle" has released 3 collections. I love what they do and the quality of their products. They had made very interesting things that you will find in my kits.
Pink Paislee. 2 beautiful collections. I love it!...
Heidi Swapp. Their products are worthy of her and very interesting…
Tattered Angels. I'm the only company that had their products here. - And this time, you'll have their sprays and their new limited collection. Very good.
I have also other surprises that I keep secret for now ….
There are several other companies that have released very beautiful collections - Crate Paper, Cosmo Cricket, American Craft, Hambly Screen Prints, Bazzill, Melissa Frances etc, etc. ... But I am not a shop and I can not buy everything, unfortunately. I had to choose and sometimes it was heartbreaking. But as I said earlier, the concept of creative kits is to give you the basic essentials. After you can complete it with few purchases in your favorite store if you need it or if you are missing something.
You've probably already realized that I always try new things, to further develop the artistic potential of scrapbooking, to consider it again and again as a great art. The practice of this art can become a source of well-being during difficult times that we can live sometimes.
So in the coming months, I will sometimes surprise you with my new kits. No, do not worry, the kits will always be very beautiful and romantic still very traditional. Knowing now your tastes even better thanks to your answers to the questionnaire (Thanks again!), I still have more chance of satisfying your tastes and filling your expectations. However, I will sometimes get out you from your comfort zone and suggest you to try new beautiful things.
There will be new kind of creative project and also new kind of products that you have perhaps never tried but I hope that you'll be very tempted to try! I ordered stamps, beautiful ribbons, many alphabets and also many other things…
But unfortunately, despite all this abundance, there were a lot of products very similar to what I had already in my kits or what is already on the market. So to avoid duplicate what you've already I had decided to do not order them.
That is why I had have to take a very difficult decision, which will certainly be sad for some of you, in order to do usually every month only one kit accompanied by add-ons and projects. This is what I expected, but as always that depends on when I will get my arrivals.
Accordingly, since the price of the kit each month will constantly vary depending on the shipment and the availability of new products sended by the companies, I am in the obligation to close the subscription (which offer a same price for each monthly kits) until March or April 2009. I am really sorry for all those that may inconvenience.
So, I will not take new subscriptions anymore and when the subscriptions period of 6 months currently underway will be completed, I will turn off the automatic renewal of Paypal.
Important: All subscriptions currently active will still continue until the end of the scheduled deadline without my subscribers have to pay any additional amount to cover the increase in the value of the kits available by subscription (It is very important for me to respect my contracts). Only their automatic renewals will not be activated at the expiration of the period of 6 months.
That, I think I have tell you everything….
Now we just have to be patient and to hope that all these beautiful products will arrive in time…
And me, I can not wait, I can not wait to offer once again my kits which I hope will please you and seduce you ...

As I have already told you, I thought maybe be able to offer 2 kits in September. But unfortunately, the news products will be send by the companies, just in late August and may be in early September (with some exceptions) and I fear to do not receive them at time.
On August 1st, I'll go on vacations for 2 weeks. If you want me to send you kits before my departure, please make the payments before July 31. Thank you.
