Challenge no. 3: "Engraved Memories …"
Our daily life is filled with precious memories, unforgettable moments and stories that we can tell to other later about them. Is it possible to photograph them all? Of course not. But the memories remain! .. And how much of them, we had in our mind from our childhood or from our youth and who are "engraved” in our mind. And why not pick one of them and make of it the theme of a creation and, even if you do not have photos of it. In all cases, it rarely happens with this type of memories….
Do you have stories and moments of life like that? Myself, I have full of them!
And here's the challenge: Make a page or several pages without adding photos. You choose the form. It may be a page in the style "Art Journal (if desired) or a 12x12 page or even a small album (And why not?). The important thing is to write a story about an event, a trip, etc.… or about something that you keep preciously in your memory without the use of photos of this event.
In her book , Ali Edwards tells us that «for some people, the idea of creating pages without photos is so beyond what they could ever think of as scrapbooking. But it is. It’s telling your story. It’s capturing your life through words. It’s creating art with a few choice embellishments.”
And now … go to our dip pens or rather I would have to say "to our keyboards ".
